Damel Mektepbayeva (Kazakhstan) is a biotechnologist. She got her BS in Biotechnology and Chemistry at Indiana University USA (International Presidential Scholarship) and MS in Biotechnology at ENS, France (Erasmus Mundus). Damel is currently working in the biosensors and bioinstruments of National Laboratory Astana (Nazarbayev University). Her team produced a drug for the treatment of ischemic diseases using stem cells to induce angiogenesis.  Damel wishes to make a global impact in health care and medicine, specifically by producing various types of rapid and affordable diagnostics tests.


Ernesto Rodriguez Leal (Mexico) got his BS in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Monterrey Tech and MS in Mechatronics and Global Technology Management at the Technische Universitat Hamburg-Harburg and the Northern Institute of Technology Management in Germany. He obtained a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering at King's College London. Ernesto has been recipient of scholarships and research grants from Hylsamex, DAAD, CONACYT and the Koerber AG. He is the author of the book "Evolutionary Design of Parallel Mechanisms" and over 25 peer-reviewed publications.


Irina Rymshina (Russia / Peru) got her BS degree in Finance at Russian University of Cooperation and MBA in IT Management at ESAN University in Peru. Former executive for ABS-Electro, a multinational corporation with over 5,000 employees providing energy solutions globally. Former Manager of Peru IT Operations at Softline, a Russian Corporation providing IT solutions in over 25 countries. Irina is a mentor for entrepreneurs of Founder Institute, Wayra and Startup Chile.
